Offering a "Release Announcement Booklet" for LUXMAN's Ultimate Series – CL36u / MB88u / LX38u. Unlike typical catalogs, this special material was distributed during a very limited period just before the release, and it contains detailed specifications including the "estimated prices" of the three models, as well as the technical philosophy of LUX at the time. It is a highly valuable document, believed to have been issued around 1982, before the actual release (late 1982 - 1983).

The most significant feature is that Susumu Uehara, the renowned designer who led the sound creation of LUXMAN's golden age, contributed his own commentary as the "author" of this booklet. The paper features Uehara's handwritten words:

"Immortal Vacuum Tube Amplifier, Essence of Audio, Written by: Susumu Uehara"

This makes it a unique document where the philosophy behind the Ultimate Series is expressed in his own handwriting. As a series designed by Uehara, a leading figure in vacuum tube amplifier design who established LUXMAN's sound philosophy, it holds immense historical value.

The booklet carefully explains the design concepts, circuit philosophy, vacuum tube selection, and the attention to detail in the chassis construction of each model – CL36u, MB88u, and LX38u – allowing readers to understand the background that led to their later recognition as "masterpieces."

Currently, this release announcement booklet is rarely found in the market, making it a highly valuable item for collectors and researchers. We highly recommend it to LUXMAN fans, vintage vacuum tube amplifier enthusiasts, and those interested in the history of Japanese audio.

Around 1980, I was a well-known audio enthusiast in the field.
I went to Nihonbashi every week and collected and organized all the audio catalogs.
I have carefully preserved them for 40 years, but I am now exhibiting the catalogs from my collection due to the organization of my family home.
Please understand that as these catalogs are about 40 years old, there may be some scratches and stains.
