Rare Vintage 1952 KING KONG Universal Statuary Corp Chalkware Coin Bank Gorilla Statue 11.5". This is a rare and hard-to-find piece. It’s a fairly large, measuring 11 1/2 inches high and 8 inches across. It’s made of chalkware, a ceramic-like / plaster-like material. It’s a cool piece from 1952. Overall, it’s in good shape, and I don’t see any chips. I like the detail where they have the red blood on the inside of the eyes. The plug on the bottom is missing, but you can use any type of universal plastic stopper for a coin bank. This might’ve been repainted, but I’m not 100% sure.
